I obtained my B.A. Honours with Great Distinction in philosophy from Concordia University in 2006. Other relevant education includes completing my first year of university at the University of King's College in the Foundation Year Program, and enrolment in B.Sc. Biology program at Trent University for one year, where I also worked in an environmental toxicology lab. My interests, insofar as they relate to my intended work at Citizendium, are in philosophy and the history of ideas, primarily in the 19th and 20th centuries. My specialities include deconstruction, Marxism, postmodernism/poststructuralism, and Lacanian psychoanalysis in the continental camp, and pragmatism (Dewey, Putnam and Rorty) and the Quine-Davidson tradition in the analytic camp. Beyond the 20th century, my philosophical interests are in German idealism and Kant, the history of political philosophy (Hobbes, Spinoza, Rousseau, Machiavelli), and ancient Greek philosophy. I also have an interest and some educational background in ancient Greek mythology, epic and tragedy.
