I am currently an undergraduate majoring in Biological Engineering with a concentration in biomedical engineering at Cornell University. This semester I am taking a course called Bioseparation Processes and one of our assignments is to write an article for citizendium. The article will explain one of the topics covered in bioseparations, such as filtration, extraction, centrifugation, chromatography, etc.
