Welcome, new editor! We're very glad you've joined us. Here are pointers for a quick start. Also, when you get a chance, please read The Editor Role. You can look at Getting Started and our help system for other introductory pages. It is also important, for project-wide matters, to join the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list. Announcements are also available via Twitter. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any administrator for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and thank you! We appreciate your willingness to share your expertise, and we hope to see your edits on Recent changes soon.

Also, I went ahead a placed the editor welcome, so you can find out how to join that list. If I can ever assist you in any way, just let me know on my talk page.

possible article to approve

I see you've just been upgraded to editor status... I'm not sure how comfortable you are with the anthropology of Mesoamerica, but I was wondering if you would take a look at Tecum Umam and see what you think. I'd like to start moving that article toward approval. If you're comfortable with the subject, you might consider nominating it but I would really appreciate any comments or suggestions you might have even if you don't feel comfortable with nominating it.

Thanks much. --Joe Quick (Talk) 03:41, 24 July 2007 (CDT)

adding to the workgroup page

When you get a moment, could you add any additional "to do" headings to the anthro workgroup page - particularly in sociology/classical anthropology or any other category where you have expertise? I want to get this list in order - format it and make a decent welcome page (unless of course you find the time to do that...............)!

Many thanks in advance!

Hawaiian alphabet

I have just completed my article Hawaiian alphabet, and I believe it is ready to be approved. I'm not really convinced this falls under anthropology, but the workgroup does cover "Modern Written Languages". Please take a look and tell me what you think.Drew R. Smith 12:40, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
