Wet suit

A wet suit is a form-fitting suit of rubber, full of bubbles, that a diver will wear to help protect them from hypothermia, during long dives. Their body heat warms the water in the bubbles. This insulates them from the water they swim in.
However, wet suits do not provide sufficient protection in colder water. In colder water a diver may rely on a dry suit.
